Hello and welcome to Allegany Radio Corporation.  Allegany Radio began in August 2006 and is a division of West Virginia Radio Corporation which is based out of Morgantown, West Virginia. WVRC is a West Virginia owned and operated broadcast.  In addition to the MetroNews Statewide Network, West Virginia Radio Corporation operates 26 radio properties throughout the state.  In December 2004, West Virginia Radio Corporation was selected as one of the top radio companies in America.  Allegany Radio Corporation includes six radio stations: WDYK -Magic 100.5, WQZK- 94.1, WVMD- 100.1 and 99.9 The Wolf, WDZN- 99.5, WCMD-102.1 FM and 1230 AM and WKLP-1390 AM. Our stations reach over 200,000 listeners daily and have coverage areas spanning throughout western Maryland, southern Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and parts of Virginia. WDYK is named after WVRC’s owner John Raese’s father Richard Aubrey “Dyke” Raese, a former head basketball coach at West Virginia University and former Navy Basketball coach. WKLP 1390AM has been on the air and serving the tri-state area for more than 50 years. All six of the ARC stations have been recognized nationally and statewide for excellence in broadcasting and strong ties to the community.
